I have some information for you! It seems the latest drivers for GeForce MX 4000 cards do not work correctly with guildwars. I was using the old ones that came with the card and it works fine. Later I downloaded the newest drivers and all the problems you describe happend to me. It is the drivers. I would go back to the packaged drivers assuming they are not the most recent. BTW the NEWEST are v81.85 for GeForce4 MX 4000 cards.

thank u, i will try it out, as i would sorely like to see a little gold and silver in the game, rather than yellow and white, which is currently what they look like.
